How do you keep your hair if you are about to go to bed. Do you just lay on your bed with your hair like that? If you sleep with your hair that way then you are doing it wrong. It is necessary you prep your hair before going to bed just like you do for your skin. Most of us make the mistake of paying more attention to our skin care, pedicure and manicure, even our teeth whilst neglecting our hair just because we can cover it up with extensions, caps, hats e.t.c . It is very essential to make sure that our hair is well prepped for bed before taking your night rest

REASONS WHY HAIR SHOULD BE PREPPED FOR BED
- Hair that is not kept well for the night will leave your hair in a bad shape the next morning. Your hair will be messed up the next morning which will give you the task of keeping it back in shape.
- Sleeping with your hair just like that can result to matting and tangling of the hair which in turn results to breakage if not detangled properly and gently.
- Most of our bed sheets and pillow cases are made out of cotton and cotton is known to absorb. Just sleeping with your hair like that will give room for the moisture in your hair to be absorbed hence causing dryness.
HOW I PREP MY HAIR FOR BED
- I part my hair into sections, mostly four sections. I do part my hair more than four sections when i have the time or when am not too tired.
- I detangle with my finger(i dont detangle everynight, just when my hair needs it) and i apply my beautiful textures moisturizer and i seal with olive oil
- Then i either braid the sections into a loose braid and tuck in the ends or i do a loose bantu knots.
- Then i tie a satin scarf on my head to protect my hair from rubbing against the pillow case.
- Then i have a good night rest knowing that my hair is protected.
